Sudden death of local resident
The funeral will take place at Marton this afternoon of Mrs Ellen Sudall
the licensee of the Farmer's Arms, Lytham Road, Blackpool whose death
occurred with tragic suddeness at Milnrow on Wednesday.
She had been suffering from a cold for a few days and on Wednesday
had a seizure from which she did not recover.
She was 56 years of age and was a native of Sowerby Bridge, Yorkshire.
She was the widow of Richard Sudall who died about 15 years ago and
who was the president of the Blackpool Beer Wine and Spirit Trades'
Association from 1909-1916 and one of the founders of the S.S. Bowling
Club.
Mrs Sudall was a daughter of the late Mr & Mrs E Whitworth and
came to Blackpool 30 years ago. She leaves two sons Mr E.J. Sudall and
Mr R. Sudall.
